Our cat

died today. She was 17 years old, same age as my daughter is going to be on Sunday.

Obviously I am very upset.

This is a picture of her.

She was, however, old and much loved.

Happy New Year!

Kate, I am so sorry to hear this. I was gutted when our dog died and know how upsetting it is. I'm reading your blog at the unearthly hour of 4am as my dad died last night, so all in all a sad day for us.

Oh Kate
How sad, however old a pet it it's loss is a big event.

Thank you for all the travel tips- and yes i do want to come to the exhibition you talked about on December 10th
Why don't we have a group meet at Walker place?
Miss seeing you- think I'm about ready to come back online.

Kate I am so sorry. My old moggy has been in Animal Hospital over NY with Liver problems - but is hanging on in there. I really feel for you. Take care.

I'm so sorry to hear that, she looked a lovely cat. I still get sad talking about our little cat that died many years ago now. Down in London a delightful and purposeful cat has been trying to adopt us (in particular she likes me to go out a run round and round with a twig for her to chase) but we feel more resistant now we have heard that she practices her wiles on the entire road and has at least 2 houses (+ her actual owner) feeding her.

your daughter's SEVENTEEN!??? Wow, that's really amazing. Also I'm sorry about your dog, and impressed with you posting a message to it on the TRAIN. Can you do hyperlinks on the train?
